Artificial lighting can vary in both quantity and quality. This depends on the kind of light you chose to place in your living room. Instead of placing only one light source in the middle of the room, you can use your creativity and utilize various lighting available today; such as recessed lighting, down (dim) lights, table or reading lamps, wall lamps, and so on. You can even utilized chandeliers with lighting controls so that you can control the atmosphere of your room.
There are several considerations that need to be carefully factored into your choice of lighting. In my opinion first and foremost you must understand what the main requirements of your space are. It is not uncommon to find that the living room doubles up as a dining room, and in some cases it can also be the kitchen and even the bedroom.
